Alhamdulillah!
Today, His Excellency, Malam Umar A. Namadi, FCA, officially signed the Jigawa State Open Government Partnership (OGP) State Action Plan III (SAP III) 2026–2027, a significant milestone in our collective pursuit of transparent, accountable, and participatory governance in Jigawa State.
As the Non-State Actors Co-Chair of the Jigawa OGP, I was privileged to join the OGP Chairman, Deputy Governor, Engr. Aminu Usman, FNSE, and the Government Co-Chair, Hon. Ibrahim Babangida Umar, Honourable Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, in presenting the Action Plan to His Excellency for his assent.
My heartfelt appreciation goes to His Excellency for his unwavering political will and commitment to the OGP process, and to all government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, and stakeholders whose dedication made this achievement possible.
With the signing of SAP III, the real work begins. Together, we will translate these commitments into tangible results that improve the lives of the people of Jigawa State.
