Luck isn't waiting for the chaos to end. It's choosing to move through it.

The woman who keeps showing up despite the deadlines. Who pushes past self-doubt and stereotypes. Who keeps building when life feels uncertain. Who turns setbacks into stepping stones and pressure into purpose.

Her life may be filled with responsibilities, expectations, and obstacles, but she refuses to let the commotion stop her motion.

So this week, don't wait for the perfect moment. Move anyway. Grow anyway. Lead anyway.

Keep finding motion in your commotion, and let your resilience create the opportunities you're looking for.

đź’™ Luck isn't found. It's built through consistent motion.

The project ended in March 2026, but its impact continues to grow.

Today, we conducted a monitoring visit to Matan Salama Savings and Loans Group (SLG), one of the sustainability mechanisms established through the Peace Across Expressions (PAX) Project, supported by the Naijayouthfund , led by our Executive Director Rex Ojochegbe Stephen

Although the group was established in December 2025 and began operations in January 2026, what is most inspiring is that it has continued to thrive five months after the project closed.

This is the true meaning of sustainability—when a community continues to own and drive positive change long after external support has ended.

During our visit, we witnessed far more than a savings meeting. We witnessed trust transformed. Women shared how they have moved from mistrust to genuine trust, building meaningful relationships across faith lines through regular meetings, shared savings, and mutual support. What started as a Village Savings and Loans Association has evolved into a platform for friendship, solidarity, and peaceful coexistence.

For us at Victus Impact Network, this is the legacy we hoped to build, not projects that end with funding, but community-owned solutions that continue to flourish. The greatest achievement is not just the money saved, but the confidence built, the relationships restored, and the social cohesion strengthened between Muslim and Christian women.

"Those who dare to stand out become outstanding."

A new month brings fresh opportunities to grow, lead, and make a lasting impact. As we embrace this new beginning, let's remain bold in our vision, consistent in our actions, and committed to creating positive change in our communities.

This August, choose courage over comfort. Audacity favors the bold, and every bold step taken today brings us closer to the future we desire.

Happy New Month and Welcome to August🤝🌿

As we conclude the 4-day Capacity Building Workshop on the Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) to Family Planning, we celebrate a renewed commitment to ensuring that family planning services are available, accessible, acceptable, equitable, and accountable for all.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Bauchi State Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Board for organizing this important training, with the invaluable support of UNFPA Nigeria

We also commend the active participation and collaboration of representatives from government ministries and agencies, civil society organizations, faith-based organizations, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), development partners, and other key stakeholders whose diverse perspectives enriched the learning experience.

The conversations, practical sessions, and shared commitments over these four days have equipped us to champion more inclusive, rights-based, and people-centered family planning programmes across Bauchi State and beyond.

Together, we move from learning to action—ensuring that no one is left behind.

Day Two | From Theory to Practice

Today, learning became action. Through case studies, group exercises, and practical assessments, we applied the Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) to real family planning programmes—identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities to ensure no one is left behind.

At VINET, we believe lasting impact begins when knowledge is translated into action.

Day One | Building Rights-Based Family Planning Systems

Yesterday, Victus Impact Network (VINET) joined stakeholders from the Bauchi State Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, the Primary Health Care Board, UNFPA, and partner organizations for the first day of the four-day Capacity Building Workshop on the Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) to Family Planning.

The sessions challenged us to rethink family planning beyond service delivery—placing human dignity, informed choice, gender equality, inclusion, and accountability at the heart of every intervention.

From exploring international human rights frameworks to understanding Gender Transformative Approaches and the principle of Leaving No One Behind, today's discussions reinforced that access to quality family planning is fundamentally a human rights issue.

Together, we are strengthening systems that protect rights, promote equality, and empower communities.

PRESS STATEMENT | CONDEMNING THE ARMED ROBBERY ATTACK AT ATBU GUBI CAMPUS

No student should have to live in fear while pursuing an education.

Victus Impact Network (VINET) strongly condemns the recent armed robbery attack at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Gubi Campus, and calls for urgent, coordinated action to strengthen campus security, protect students, and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.

The safety of students is a shared responsibility and must remain a priority for all duty bearers.

Every young person dreams of changing the world.

But here's the truth:

You can't create lasting change until you become the kind of person who can sustain it.
The greatest gift you can give yourself isn't a new phone, more followers, or instant success.

It's SELF-DEVELOPMENT.

Read books that stretch your thinking. Learn skills that solve problems. Build discipline when no one is watching. Strengthen your character. Find mentors. Lead with integrity.
Because communities don't rise by chance, they rise on the shoulders of prepared young people.

The future doesn't need more spectators. It needs equipped changemakers.

So before you ask, "How can I change the world?"

Ask yourself,
"Am I becoming the person the world needs?"
