In this panel session, it went beyond the usual conversations about youth development. It brought real perspectives, honest insights, and a much-needed conversation on what it actually takes to create opportunities for young people to thrive.

Moderated by Ms. Iloanya Obianuju, the session featured Mr. Ihueze Nwobilor, Ms. Chibuzor Elizabeth Chijioke, and Hon. Ifeoma Thomas, who unpacked critical issues around youth participation, access, leadership, opportunity, and inclusive growth.

It was a conversation that challenged perspectives, sparked questions, and reminded us that empowering young people isn't just about talking about the future; it's about creating the systems, opportunities, and support they need now.

A powerful conversation. A room full of ideas. And hopefully, the beginning of even bigger action.

One of the strongest messages from Senator Liyel Imokeโ€™s keynote address at this year's IYD Conference was simple, powerful, and timely:

Donโ€™t spend so much time worrying about how you will begin that you never begin at all.

"Start with what you have".
"Start before you have all the answers".
"Start young".
"Start imperfectly".
"But most importantly, START".

Sometimes, the very frustration you complain about can become the foundation of your greatest innovation when you learn to channel it properly.

Today, weโ€™re celebrating one of the amazing people who contributed to the success of the International Youth Day Conference.

One of the standout moments during today's conference was an insightful and engaging panel session featuring Samuel Igwe, Igwe Uguru, and Cynthia Onu (sipsbycee).

The conversation challenged young people to understand that great things donโ€™t always start big; "start small, build intentionally, and keep going".
