Hunger Relief, Vision & HbA1 Diabetes Screening Project

A meaningful day of serving, sharing and caring! 💛

In collaboration with Kelab Media Johor and Regency Specialist Hospital, we successfully completed our Hunger Relief, Vision & Diabetes Screening Project at Orang Asli Kampung Peta.

✨ Making a Difference Through Service

🥫 Distributed food baskets to underprivileged families
👓 Provided vision care for the Orang Asli community
🩺 Conducted HbA1c diabetes screening for adults
🤝 Strengthened community bonds through compassion and meaningful service

One donation can save up to 3 lives! ❤️ Every drop of blood counts, and your kindness can give someone another chance at life.

Lions Club of JB Iskandar is proud to collaborate with Columbia Asia Hospital Iskandar Puteri and Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) to support this meaningful blood donation campaign.

📅 Date: Tuesday, 27 October 2026
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Venue: Foyer, East Wing, Level 1, Columbia Asia Hospital Iskandar Puteri

📝 **What to Bring:**
• MyKad (Malaysians) or Passport (non-Malaysians)
• Previous blood donation record book (if available)

🍽️ **A little thank-you for your kindness!** All blood donors will receive a complimentary meal voucher for Café Columbia & Café De Columbia.

A heartfelt thank you to all our generous blood donors, dedicated volunteers, supporting partners, and organisers for making our blood donation drive a success!

- 👥 Total Registered Donors: 91
- ❤️ Successful Donations: 75 bags
- 🙏 Deferred Donors: 16

一袋热血，可以为有需要的人带来生命的希望。
在您伸出手臂、献出爱心之前，不妨先看看自己是否符合基本捐血条件。 🩸

A single blood donation can bring hope and help save lives.
Before you roll up your sleeve, check whether you meet the basic blood donation requirements.

✅ 年龄 Age：17–70岁
✅ 体重 Weight：至少 Minimum 45kg
✅ 身体健康 In good health
✅ 睡眠 Sleep：至少 At least 5 hours
✅ 捐血前请进食 Eat before donating
✅ 补充足够水分 Stay well hydrated
✅ 全血捐献至少间隔3个月 Minimum 3-month interval for whole blood donation

其他健康状况、药物或近期接受治疗等情况，请如实告知现场医护人员，并以当天医护人员的评估为准。 ❤️

If you are taking medication, have recently been unwell, or have undergone medical treatment, please inform the medical team. Final eligibility is subject to assessment by the healthcare professionals on duty.

✅ Stay indoors and reduce unnecessary outdoor activities.

💧 Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.

🏠 Keep indoor air clean and windows

𝟏𝟓 𝐎𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - Pihak Pengurusan Hospital Sultan Ismail Johor Bahru (HSIJB) merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dan ucapan terima kasih kepada Lions Club of JB Iskandar atas lawatan amal dan sumbangan ikhlas yang telah dibawakan khas untuk wira-wira cilik kita.

Sumbangan berupa 80 beg cenderamata telah disampaikan kepada Pesakit kanser kanak-kanak di Wad 8C dan juga Pesakit kanak-kanak di Wad 8D.

Bukan itu sahaja, suasana di Wad 8D bertukar ceria apabila ahli-ahli Lions Club of JB Iskandar turut meluangkan masa menjalankan aktiviti kraftangan bersama beberapa orang pesakit. Kehadiran mereka sedikit sebanyak memberikan sokongan moral serta kekuatan kepada mereka dan keluarga sepanjang tempoh rawatan.

Terima kasih Lions Club of JB Iskandar atas keprihatinan dan kasih sayang yang dikongsikan. Semoga usaha murni ini menjadi inspirasi buat kita semua untuk terus menyantuni golongan yang memerlukan.🤝
