📣 Great News! Roar! Roar! Roar!

Our club representatives just attended the 64th MD 308 Lions Convention2026 (30 April - 3 May) at Lotus Desaru. During the event, our members also actively participated in the golf tournament and beach cleaning activities! 🏌️‍♂️🏖️

At the Awards Night, our club was honored to receive several awards:

🏆 Service Achievements ：Environment, Youth, Diabetes, Mental Health, Humanitarian

Region 1 & 5 Joint Project
A Greener Future & Clearer Vision at Care Haven! 🌳👓

On March 8, 2026, our club joined forces with fellow Lions to help Care Haven recover from a recent elephant intrusion that destroyed the orphanage's fencing. Led by O.C. Lion Charlie, we planted 220 trees to create a "living fence" for the safety and security of the children.

Highlights of the Day:

1.Tree Planting: We successfully planted 220 trees, contributing to a greener and more sustainable environment for the home. 🌳

2.Eye Screening: We conducted vision checks for 20 children, with 11 identified to receive new prescription glasses to support their learning and growth. 👓

3.Heartfelt Gifts: To bring extra cheer, we distributed 20 gift packs and donated a new television for the children's enjoyment. 🎁📺

A Heartwarming CNY Reunion at Johor Cheshire Home🏮

On February 27, 2026, our club had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with the Lions Club of Skudai to host a festive Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner for the residents of Johor Cheshire Home.

The evening was filled with warmth and laughter, further enriched by the presence of PDG Dr. Ben and President Dr. Tan, whose inspiring words reminded us all of the profound importance of community support and compassion during the festive season. From the thunderous energy of the Lion Dance to the sheer joy of receiving Angpows and candies from the God of Wealth, every moment was a beautiful celebration of "Unity in Service."

This successful event would not have been possible without the meticulous planning and dedication of our Organizing Chairpersons. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our O.C. Ln. Elsie Ching and O.C. Ln. Serene from the Lions Club of Skudai for their tireless efforts in bringing this meaningful celebration to life. Seeing the radiant smiles on the residents' faces was a truly rewarding experience for everyone involved.

Chinese New Year Fellowship

Our New Year Fellowship on February 23rd was truly a night to remember! A huge thank you to Lion Stacey for opening her beautiful home to us.

The festive spirit was everywhere! From the stunning Chinese New Year decorations that provided the perfect "Instagrammable" backdrops to the delicious home-cooked dinner prepared by Stacey herself,every detail was filled with love.

We kicked off the night with a spirited Yee Sang, tossing high for prosperity and health. It was a wonderful evening of great food and even better company. Everyone went home with full stomachs and happy hearts!
