Following the Development Cooperation Academy 2026, the Organizational Development and Project Services (ODPS) team at ITCILO is continuing the conversation with another free follow-up webinar, this time connecting Data Analytics and Project Management.

Good projects start with understanding the problem. But what evidence do we need? How can qualitative and quantitative data help? And how do we connect evidence, a Theory of Change, and project results?

In 2025 we embarked on an innovation journey at ITCILO: a space for colleagues to explore technologies, challenge assumptions, experiment with new tools, and discuss one fundamental question: How do we ensure that technological innovation advances social justice?

The journey ultimately led to the adoption of the ITCILO Manifesto on Emerging Technologies for Social Justice.

But that was only the beginning.

From 29 September to 2 October 2026, we will open this conversation to a much broader community through the AI+ Nonference in Turin.

Our trainings are never just a dry transfer of technical knowledge but rather a space for sharing country experiences and approaches to respond to the common challenge of decent work promotion and social justice for all.

An inspiring space for personal and professional growth, taking inspiration from others and broadening our views.

This is precisely what happened last month during the residential phase our Employment Academy: 86 people from 33 countries from all over the world, plus 25 ILO and ITCILO experts, all gathered to discuss promising experiences and approaches to promote productivity along with decent work, in a world that is being reshaped by demographic, technological and green transformation.

By the end of the event, each delegation was able to produce a country poster taking stock of what already works and what could be improved at national level to move forward in this sense. We hope our participants left as inspired as we are, ready to turn these ideas into real change back home.
