OFW Beyond Salary: Financial, Health, & Family Readiness for Overseas Filipinos

The Philippine Embassy and the Migrant Workers Office in Rome, in partnership with OFW Not Forever / OFWinners, invite OFWs to a financial literacy program focused on financial management, health, and family preparedness to help build a more secure future for themselves and their loved ones.

The program will also feature the inspiring story of a former OFW in Milan, whose journey was featured on Maalaala Mo Kaya.

WORK IN PROGRESS

History repeats itself, in Rome even the statues move for mobility.

The statue of Pietro Metastasio was once again placed in Piazza San Silvestro, more than a century after its first relocation.

In 1910 the monument was moved from this square to Piazza della Chiesa Nuova due to the need for traffic and tram passage. Today Metastasio returns instead to San Silvestro, as part of the transformation of the square and the works related to the new Metro C.

A curious journey through the urban history of Rome: the means change, the squares change, but the monuments continue to follow the evolution of the city. - Roma Eterna
