Before the start of the season, one of our special hounds is retiring. Born November 2, 2017, Laramie is just shy of nine years old and has spent many seasons proving himself as one of our best cold-nosed hounds, able to find and follow a faint scent that is hours (even days) old.

A sweet hound with an occasional stubborn streak, Laramie also loves to “sing” with Master Epp, as pictured here. According to Master Epp, Laramie received no training but came up with this popular trick on his own!

While he’s still excellent at starting a run, Laramie can no longer keep up with the pack. He has earned a quiet retirement and plenty of time to enjoy the good life!

Join us in wishing Laramie a very happy retirement. Share your favorite Laramie moments or pics in the comments below. 👇

Meet Wishes ❤️

Wishes is a sweet and loving 9-year-old spayed female who is ready to begin the next chapter of her life. After a successful hunting career, she has earned a well-deserved soft landing. Wishes has had her retirement physical, is up to date on her vaccines, and is house- and crate-trained. She is a wonderful, affectionate girl who loves her people and would be happiest as the only dog in the home, or with other large male dogs. After giving so much of herself in the field, Wishes is ready for a retirement filled with love, comfort, and a family of her own. She has certainly earned it. ❤️ please send us a PM if you would like to discuss Wishes.
