This does not stay at a global level.

But responses also begin locally.

In how we grow food.
In how we use resources.
In how we care for land.
In what we buy, and what we refuse to.

On March 28th, people came to the Organic Bazaar, brought their plastic, and took home a free eco-friendly alternative in exchange.

Alongside the barter, we also showcased a range of single use plastic alternatives — things people can start using today. Together, 17+ kg of plastic found its way out of homes.

What stayed with us was the curiosity people brought along. Questions about alternatives, conversations about what we use without thinking, and a few who said they're ready to make the switch.

That felt like enough to keep going. 💚

Most of us think a forest is just… trees.
Nice, tall, green background for photos. That’s it.

But a forest is an entire world pretending to be quiet.
It’s microorganisms working unseen, fungi connecting roots underground, insects building systems we don’t even understand, and animals ranging from the smallest ants to elephants moving through it like it’s home… because it is.

It’s not just greenery.
It’s relationships, survival, balance, and time.

When we lose a forest, we’re not cutting trees.
We’re erasing a whole living network we barely took the time to understand.

So maybe today isn’t just about “saving trees.”
Maybe it’s about unlearning how little we thought forests were.

Protect. Restore. Let forests breathe life into our future.
