Adapted Pittu (Seven Stones) Activity
Our children enjoyed an adapted Pitthu game, while making play fun and meaningful during sports activity.
During the activity, children practiced tracking, aiming, throwing, and stacking blocks. The game was modified to encourage participation at different skill levels, with a focus on stacking and arranging blocks according to size and number.
Through this activity, children worked on:
Hand-eye coordination
Aiming and target skills
Visual tracking and attention
Recognition of size and number concepts
Motor planning and body coordination
Turn-taking and teamwork
Social interaction and participation
As the children knocked down and rebuilt the stack, they practiced following instructions, waiting for their turn, and celebrating achievements with their peers.
Learning through play helps build essential developmental skills while keeping children actively engaged and having fun!
