Celebrating 19 Years of Innovation, Collaboration & Growth! ๐
On 1st August 2026, Nashik Engineering Cluster celebrated its 19th Foundation Day, marking another significant milestone in our journey of strengthening industries, empowering entrepreneurs and promoting innovation.
The celebration was highlighted by the inauguration of our Advanced Material & Rubber Testing Laboratory, a state-of-the-art facility established to provide industries with advanced testing solutions and support quality excellence.
Adding another feather to our cap, NEC has been selected as an Implementation Partner under the Government of India's Incubation Scheme by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) to mentor and support Electric Vehicle (EV) startups - a proud recognition of our commitment to nurturing innovation.
During the celebration, NEC CEO Mr. SK Mathur reflected on the organization's 19-year journey and highlighted its achievements. He stated that the progress made by NEC has been possible due to the support of its member industries, the strategic guidance of the Board of Directors, and the dedicated efforts of its employees.
NEC Chairman Mr. Vikram Sarada said that the newly inaugurated Rubber Testing Laboratory will provide advanced testing facilities to industries. He also expressed confidence that NEC's selection for the EVolutions initiative will give a new direction to electronics startups and strengthen innovation in the region.
The occasion also celebrated the achievements of startups from the NEC Incubation Centre who have been selected for the prestigious Stanford Seed Spark 2026 South Asia & Africa Cohort, recognizing their potential to create global impact.
The event was graced by Mr Yazdi Patel, a veteran from the rubber industry, who inaugurated the laboratory, along with eminent dignitaries, industry leaders, member industries, startup founders and well-wishers who joined us in celebrating this memorable occasion.
Industry representatives appreciated the availability of modern testing facilities in Nashik, saying that it would greatly benefit local industries.
