Ramakrishna Sarada Samiti Ramakrishna Sarada Samiti is a Non Profit institution serving marginalised urban communities in areas of health, education and vocational training since 1968

Ramakrishna Sarada Samiti was set up in 1968 under the guidance of RKM, Mumbai with an all- women Trustee team to serve disadvantaged communities in Mumbai irrespective of reliigion, caste or creed. The NGO has been serving the community by providing effective health care, education and vocational training especially to women and youth. The Vocational Training center trains women annually in Nur

sing Aide Program, Tailoring, Beautician Course and Terracotta in our Clay Works Studio.These programs are supported by our corporate partners. RKSS runs a Community Urban Health Center.Several medical camps, health related awareness programs and interventions are conducted at the center. The RKSS Little Lamps Gammatwadi, provides a safe, nurturing play school for over 120 children from the community. RKSS conducts Free After- School Tuition, computer courses, vacation classes, twinning programs, Malakhamba Classes, Pottery classes.These learning programs are designed to motivate and inspire children to learn and explore and evolve into caring global citizens. To support women tailors trained at our vocational center during COVID 19, RKSS has initiated SATTVA INDIA, to make cotton high protection masks and other handcrafted upcycled products that are marketed at www.sattvaindia.org. All sales revenues from this project supports livelihoods and community health and education programs.
