A proud moment for Piramal Foundation.
We are honoured to be recognised for âExcellence in Holistic Wellbeingâ at the BW Festival of Wellbeing 2026.
We are grateful to BW Businessworld for this recognition, and to Emory Universityâs Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics for their long-term partnership in advancing human flourishing.
This recognition celebrates the Foundationâs long-term work on wellbeing through compassion and social-emotional learning, including:
Cognitively Based Compassion Training (CBCTÂŽ) for employees and public system leaders â helping build self-awareness, compassion, resilience, and service-oriented leadership.
Social, Emotional, and Ethical Learning (SEE LearningÂŽ) across states and school systems â supporting educators and schools in nurturing compassion, emotional awareness, ethical thinking, and wellbeing among children.
Building institutional capacity and leadership for wellbeing within government systems.
Creating sustainable models that integrate wellbeing into organisational and public system cultures.
What makes this recognition especially encouraging is that it acknowledges wellbeing not as a standalone programme, but as a systemic approach connecting personal transformation, leadership development, institutional culture, and systems change.
The award was received by Monal Jayaram on behalf of the Foundation.
This recognition belongs to our colleagues, partners, government officials, teachers, school leaders, and communities who have contributed to this journey over the years.
Together, we continue to strengthen wellbeing with compassion, purpose, and sewa bhaav.
