If you see us staring intensely at our phones in a hallway... mind your business. 😂

Our Operations team is officially in a committed relationship with our students’ success. Whether it’s figuring out training schedules, or following up on mentor interactions, we’ll be standing in the most random corners of the office to make it happen.
It’s not toxic, we promise—it’s just dedication🤪✨

Engineering their own destiny. 🛠️✨

In our previous post, shared why she stepped into the role of a mentor. Today, she’s talking about the real stars of the show—the students.

For Shalini, it’s not just about the technical difficulty of an engineering degree; it’s about the grit it takes to get there. These young women aren’t just overcoming academic hurdles—they are breaking barriers, supporting their families, and preparing to lead the teams of tomorrow.

Mentorship provides the grounding, but these girls provide the fuel. 🚀

Interviews are scary. But being unprepared is worse. 😅

If you’ve got one coming up, don’t wing it. Save this. You’ll thank yourself later. 👇

1) Research your “why”- Be specific. Know exactly why you want to work for this company, not just any company.
2) Read the JD properly- Treat every bullet point in the job description as a potential interview question.
3) Quantify Your Wins: Use numbers to prove your impact.
4) Watch your body language - Confidence isn’t just what you say.
5) Embrace the Pause- Take five seconds to gather your thoughts before answering, silence is better than “umm.”
6) Ask, Don’t Just Answer- Prepare 3 thoughtful questions to show you’re genuinely interested in the role.
7) Ditch the “perfectionist” act- Share a real weakness and how you’re actively working on it.
8) Dress like you mean it - First impressions still count.
9) Nail your intro - You have 60 seconds. Make them count.
10) Give examples, not buzzwords - Replace generic adjectives with real-life examples of your impact.

Pro tip: It’s NOT an interrogation. It’s a conversation. 🗣️

Which one are you fixing before your next interview? 👇

“I remember the conversation was very warm...”💛

Mentorship is more than just guidance; it’s a safe space to grow. Watch as Sarthika (Batch of 2026) and her mentor, Rovena, reflect on their first impressions and the beautiful impact they’ve had on each other’s lives.

“I felt like it was my turn to give back... my journey is very much similar to a lot of these girls.” — Shalini Gamre

Meet Shalini Gamre, a Katalyst mentor, sharing why she decided to step up and give back. For Shalini, mentorship is more than just a volunteer role—it’s about “co-parenting” through shared stories and lived experiences.

Shalini shares that the real magic happens at that moment of unbreakable trust when a mentee opens up about things they wouldn’t even tell their parents.
