District Mental Health Programme,Darrang celebrate world schizophrenia day on 24th May 2026 at Dhula regional physically handicapped development association, Dhula org.by DHS,Darrang collaboration with DLSA,Darrang & Dept.of Psychiatry ,Mangaldai Civil Hospital.

Organise a Awareness meeting of Schizophrenia ,where lecture delivered by Puspa kalita , Clinical psychologist , Pranjal Thakuria, Psychiatric Social Worker.As a Resource Person From DLSA,Darrang Mr.Girindra Deka, Advocate added his lecture about the NALSA ("LEGAL SERVICES TO THE PERSONS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS and PERSONS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES) Schcme 2025 Where present Abdul Hamid ,Project Coordinator ,DRPHDA NGO, and other officials .For spreading awareness regarding the Schizophrenia among the people and also motivated those people who has been suffering from mental illness as well as the family members to encourage and support them and set a healthy boundaries with them”.After the awareness meeting the team DMHP,DARRANG distribute some special schizophrenia related & Tele-Manas IEC among the people.
