Colours, culture and creativity came together at the first round of the Creative Wall Painting Challenge, organized by the Makerspace at The Hub Jorhat in collaboration with Don Bosco High School, Baghchung.

With the theme "Cultures and Traditions of North-East India that Co-exist with Nature," students showcased their artistic talent through acrylic and watercolour paintings, bringing to life the rich heritage, diverse communities and deep connection with nature that define our region.

This marks the beginning of a two-round challenge. The selected participants will advance to the final round, where they will transform their creativity into a lasting work of art by painting a wall within their school campus.

We look forward to seeing these young artists turn imagination into inspiration, one brushstroke at a time.

Creativity Meets Sustainability!

For two days, classrooms moved beyond books and ideas came alive through bamboo.

The Creative Bamboo Craft Challenge, held on 30th and 31st May, brought together 20 young creators from five schools, each working in teams of four to design and build practical household products using one of nature’s most sustainable materials.

From concept to creation, the challenge tested creativity, problem-solving, teamwork and craftsmanship, proving that the future of innovation can be both green and grounded in local resources.

From ideas to investor-ready ventures, the journey of NE-Vent 6 has been truly inspiring.

After receiving 151 applications from across the region, 21 promising women-led enterprises successfully completed months of intensive incubation, mentoring and business development sessions under NE-Vent 6.

The Final Immersion-cum-Pitching Event, held from 22–25 May 2026, marked the culmination of this transformative journey. Through expert-led pitch deck workshops, immersive VR-based pitching simulations facilitated by Turbit, AI-powered jury interactions and live presentations before an esteemed jury panel, the incubatees showcased their innovation, resilience and entrepreneurial vision.

The event was not just about pitching businesses, it was about building confidence, refining ideas and preparing Northeast entrepreneurs to take bold steps into the startup ecosystem.

A proud milestone for every incubatee, mentor, partner and supporter who made NE-Vent 6 a success.
