NE-Vent 7 came to a close at The Hub Jorhat with a Business Pitching Event that put the spotlight where it belongs, on the women entrepreneurs building the Northeast’s next generation of enterprises.
From Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland, 25 women took their ventures through six months of mentoring, capacity building, networking and handholding across sectors including handloom & textiles, handicrafts, Agri-tech, food processing, health & wellness and waste fabric recycling.
The final pitches were more than presentations. They reflected months of learning, refining ideas and preparing businesses to grow. The ventures were evaluated by an esteemed jury panel comprising Mr. S. Deenadayalan, Chairman, Centre for Excellence in Organisation Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru; Mr. Abhishek Kakkar, IAN Sourcing, Indian Angel Network, Delhi; and Mr. Kankan Jyoti Khargoria, Senior Manager, Incubation, Assam Innovation and Startup Foundation, Guwahati.
As NE-Vent 7 concludes, the journey continues with stronger ventures, new connections and women entrepreneurs ready to take their ideas further.
