Did you know the word “Hindu” was once proposed to be removed from the name of Banaras Hindu University?

Who raised his voice against it?
A former BHU student — Ji.

During his centenary year celebration, RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale Ji recalls how Singhal Ji opposed the move, after which the decision was eventually withdrawn.

Years later, he carried forward Mahamana Malaviya Ji’s legacy through the Malaviya Mission.

One voice. One conviction. A lasting legacy. 🇮🇳

Panch Parivartan: The Path to a Sustainable and Harmonious Society

An insightful article by Dr. Mukul Chandra Bora, presently Vice Chancellor, North Lakhimpur University, in Dainik Poorvoday, exploring how Panch Parivartan can provide a holistic framework for social transformation through family values, social harmony, environmental responsibility, civic duties and self-awareness.

The article highlights the need to move beyond merely economic measures of development and place human values, social responsibility and harmony with nature at the heart of sustainable development.

Sharing the article for a wider reflection and discussion.
