THE BHARAT SCOUT & GUIDES Distt. Lohit The Department of Education, Lohit District organized District Level Cub- Bulbul Utsav w.e.f 8th to 10th Jan 2026 at TCM-GUPS, Tezu under the leadership of Shri. Somit Mena, DTO/STC, and Shri. Vinay Kumar (S/G) from L/Dibang Valley District(A.P) Shri. Kajal Dutta (C/M), Miss Anuradha Gupta (F/L), Miss Liya Tayang(F/L), Smti. Anima Bhattacharjee(F/L) from Lohit District (A.P) along with 60 cubs & bulbul from different GUPS of Lohit District having running units, participated in Utsav . The programme began with procession, followed with prayer and flag ceremony , warm welcome address by Somit Mena, DTP/STC, L/Dibang Valley, District(A.P) Various types Competitions included prayer and law competition, Uniform and Turn out inspection, Cub -Bulbul greeting, bulbul trees, Yell, Poem Recitation , storytelling, Tug War, Drawing, Group song and group dance, Solo dance , knotting race, Musical Chair, Quiz competition which encouraged creativity and improved communication skills and confidence among children. The Valedictory function was graced by Smti. Tumngam Nyodu, DDSE cm ,District Chief Commissioner BSG Lohit District as Chief Guest, Shri. Kajal Duta Cub Master welcomed the gathering, Shri. Bikash Chanda, DTO, i/c Lohit presented a brief report of the Utsav. The Chief Guest gave away prizes to the deserving winners then motivated and blessed the children’s with her inspiring speech . The functioned concluded with vote of thanks by Smti. R.B. Bellai(H/M) GUPS-TCM, Tezu.
