হাফলঙে শিলাদিত্য দেবের সঙ্গে বাঙালি পরিষদের বৈঠক
সাংগঠনিক তৎপরতা বৃদ্ধি, জনস্বার্থ ও আগামী দিনের কর্মসূচি নিয়ে আলোচনা

সাময়িক প্ৰসঙ্গ, হাফলং, ২৯ সেপ্টেম্বর: জেলার সাংগঠনিক কার্যকলাপ আরও সুসংহত করা এবং জনস্বার্থসংশ্লিষ্ট বিভিন্ন বিষয়কে সামনে রেখে হাফলঙে বাঙালি পরিষদ অসমের ডিমা হাসাও জেলা সমিতির সঙ্গে এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হল। সোমবার হাফলং সার্কিট হাউসে বিধায়ক তথা বাঙালি পরিষদ অসমের মুখ্য উপদেষ্টা শিলাদিত্য দেবের সঙ্গে জেলা সমিতির এই বৈঠকে বিভিন্ন সাংগঠনিক ও জনস্বার্থমূলক বিষয় নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয়।

বৈঠকে উপস্থিত জেলা সমিতির সদস্যরা ডিমা হাসাও জেলার বিভিন্ন সমস্যা, সংগঠনের বর্তমান কার্যকলাপ এবং আগামী দিনের কর্মসূচি সম্পর্কে শিলাদিত্য দেবের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় করেন। জেলার সাধারণ মানুষের স্বার্থসংশ্লিষ্ট বিভিন্ন বিষয় আলোচনায় উঠে আসে। পারস্পরিক আলোচনা ও মতবিনিময়ের মধ্য দিয়ে বৈঠকে এক ইতিবাচক ও গঠনমূলক পরিবেশের সৃষ্টি হয়।

সংগঠন সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, আগামী দিনে জেলা স্তরে বাঙালি পরিষদের সাংগঠনিক তৎপরতা আরও বৃদ্ধি করা, সংগঠনের বিভিন্ন কর্মসূচিকে সুসংহত করা এবং জনকল্যাণমূলক কার্যক্রম গ্রহণের বিষয়ে বৈঠকে গুরুত্ব আরোপ করা হয়। পাশাপাশি সংগঠনের সদস্যদের মধ্যে পারস্পরিক সমন্বয় ও সহযোগিতা আরও জোরদার করে জেলার বিভিন্ন সমস্যা ও জনস্বার্থের বিষয়গুলি নিয়ে সম্মিলিত ভাবে কাজ করার বিষয়েও আলোচনা হয়।

বিধায়ক তথা বাঙালি পরিষদ অসমের মুখ্য উপদেষ্টা শিলাদিত্য দেবের সঙ্গে এই বৈঠককে ঘিরে জেলা সমিতির সদস্যদের মধ্যে উৎসাহ লক্ষ্য করা যায়। সংগঠনের আগামী দিনের কর্মপন্থা নির্ধারণ এবং বিভিন্ন জনস্বার্থমূলক বিষয়কে যথাযথ গুরুত্ব দিয়ে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে এই বৈঠক তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ বলে মনে করছেন সংগঠনের সদস্যরা।

এ দিনের বৈঠকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বাঙালি পরিষদ অসমের ডিমা হাসাও জেলা সমিতির সভাপতি রজত কান্তি নাথ, সহ-সভাপতি প্রদীপ দাস বর্মণ ও শ্যামল নন্দী, সাধারণ সম্পাদক (সাংগঠনিক) বিপ্লব দেব, সাধারণ সম্পাদক (প্রশাসনিক) উত্তম দে, উপদেষ্টা অনুপ কুমার বিশ্বাস, লিটন চক্রবর্তী, ধীরাজ দাস, শশাঙ্ক দত্ত রতীশ দেবনাথ প্ৰশান্ত ভট্টাচাৰ্য-সহ জেলা সমিতির অন্যান্য সদস্যরা।

সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ণ পরিবেশে বৈঠকটি সম্পন্ন হয়। আগামী দিনে পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা ও সমন্বয়ের ভিত্তিতে সংগঠনের সাংগঠনিক কার্যকলাপ এবং জনকল্যাণমূলক উদ্যোগকে আরও এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার ওপর গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়।

On his arrival at Haflong, Shri Shiladitya Deb, Hon’ble MLA, Assam Legislative Assembly and Chief Adviser, Bangali Parishad Assam, held an Interaction & Organisational Meeting with the members of Bangali Parishad Assam, Dima Hasao District Committee at the Circuit House, Haflong, on 28 September 2026 at 7:30 PM.

The meeting was held in a warm, cordial and inspiring atmosphere. Valuable discussions and meaningful interactions took place on various organisational matters and the way forward.

It was a fruitful and motivating interaction, leaving all the members present inspired and more committed towards strengthening the organisation and working together for the community.

One Year Without Zubeen: Remembering the Beloved Artist Through Music

One year has passed without Zubeen Garg. Yet, through his songs, melodies and creations, the legendary singer continues to live on in the hearts of the people of Assam. On Saturday, as ‘Zubeen Divas’ was observed across the state, Haflong too remembered the beloved artist through various programmes.

On the occasion, the Dima Hasao District Committee of Bangali Parishad Assam organised a tribute programme in memory of Zubeen Garg at the premises of Haflong Jagannath Temple on Saturday. The programme began with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp and offering of floral tributes before a portrait of the renowned singer. A one-minute silence was also observed praying for the eternal peace of his soul.

The ceremonial lamp was lit and floral tributes were offered by the Advisors Shri Anup Kumar Biswas,Shri Liton Chakraborty, Organisation President Shri Rajat Kanti Nath, General Secretary (Organisational) Shri Biplab Deb, General Secretary (Administrative) Shri Uttam Dey, along with other members and dignitaries.

Following this, artists from Haflong performed songs in unison in memory of Zubeen Garg. Through music, the participating artists and members paid tribute to the much-loved singer and celebrated his enduring musical legacy.

A discussion was also held on Zubeen Garg’s life, musical creations and his close bond with the people of Assam. Shri Ronit Dey, Shri Biplab Deb and Shri Rajat Kanti Nath spoke on the occasion, recalling the life and contributions of the celebrated artist.

Although Zubeen Garg is no longer physically among us, his songs, melodies and creative works will continue to keep his memory alive in the hearts of the people of Assam. The programme concluded with a heartfelt tribute to the beloved artist, remembered with respect, love and affection.
