One village at a time, conversations around awareness are growing stronger.
As part of HPV Teeka, Har Beti ka Kavach, an engaging HPV vaccination awareness session was conducted at Government School, Village Mandarka, through the collective efforts of the Health Department, school staff, and M3M Foundation.
The session brought together girls, mothers, community members, ASHA workers, and health officials through interactive IEC activities including Flip Books, Quiz Cards, awareness songs, informative reels, and games like Snake & Ladder and Ludo — making conversations around HPV vaccination simple, relatable, and engaging.
With the participation of 54 community members, the session reflected growing awareness and trust towards preventive healthcare and girls’ health. A particularly encouraging moment came when women from the community shared their willingness to discuss HPV vaccination within their families, while ASHA worker Seema Ji inspired confidence by sharing that she had already vaccinated her own daughter and another girl from her family.
Through innovative IEC materials developed by SYImpact, M3M Foundation, in collaboration with the Health Department, Haryana, continues to take awareness closer to communities — one village, one conversation at a time.
