Blood Donation Camp Organised by Rotary Club of New Gurgaon at ISGEC, Bawal

On 16th May 2026, Rotary Club of New Gurgaon organised a mega blood donation camp at ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd., Bawal, Haryana. The employees and workers of the company showed overwhelming enthusiasm, self-motivation, and dedication towards this noble cause. More than 90 units of blood were collected during the camp, reflecting a strong spirit of humanity and social responsibility.

All blood donors were honoured with refreshments including fruits and bottled juices, along with donor cards, ceramic mugs, Milton bottles, and certificates of appreciation by Rotary Blood Bank Gurgaon and ISGEC.

Dr. Sunil Taneja, Rtn Rahul Agarwal (Club President), Rtn Dr. Ram Kr Yadav, and Rtn Ashok Malik motivated the workers and staff members to actively participate in blood donation.

ISGEC Bawal Plant Head, Mr. Praveen Kr Manchanda, explained the health benefits and national importance of blood donation and encouraged employees to donate blood regularly.

Senior officials present during the camp included Mr. Subhash Sharma (Head HR), Mr. Sunil Kumar (Head Safety), Mr. Vinod Kumar (Head of Accounts), Mr. Jitender Singh (Quality Head), Mr. Sandeep Kr Sharma (Admin Executive), along with other officials and their teams, who contributed significantly towards making the camp a grand success.

“DAANA-PAANI BIRD CARE NEST”
A meaningful awareness and service activity titled “Daana-Paani Bird Care Nest” was organised at all three interact schools on 7th May 2026 in collaboration with Rotary Club of New Gurgaon and Nav Kalp Foundation under the able guidance and leadership of the school Principals. The programme aimed to spread awareness about caring for birds during the harsh summer season by providing them with food, water, and shelter.
The guests were warmly welcomed with planters as a symbol of gratitude and environmental consciousness. Representatives from the Rotary Club included Mr. Kamal Luthra, Ms. Preeti Dokania, and Ms. Mini Agarwal and Mr. Anil Arya and Ashmita Arya from Nav Kalp Foundation.
The event included the installation of bird nests and water feeders on the school campus along with an informative awareness session on the importance of birds in maintaining ecological balance. Students enthusiastically participated in the initiative and learned the values of compassion, kindness, and environmental responsibility.
The activity successfully encouraged students to become more sensitive towards nature and inspired them to contribute positively towards environmental conservation.
