WHAT WE DO Kenosis aims to closely focus on alleviating poverty, create financial independence and stopping social injustice, especially those vulnerable and suppressed women, youth and children. We love the needy and the disadvantage of health, hygiene and sanitation, formal education, help poor families build and renovation of houses and toilets, women and adolescent girl’s empowerment, micro-finance, Microcredit to start poultry farming, milking cow, and solutions for financial empowerment and independence. Training in sewing skills and assisting in dress, candle, incense making cane stool making and washable menstrual kits starts our process in women’s empowerment. Provide education on sexual health and menstruation management and better nutrition as well as education on women’s rights, gender equality, anti-discrimination and advocacy. Provide training in permaculture for a community and school farm for the growing of organic crops and various types of fruit and vegetables to alleviate malnutrition. Secondly, Kenosis focus on unskilled, under skilled and dropout youths and offers employment opportunity after training for self-employment, self-financing and self-reliance. OUR BENEFICIARIES We promote those whose individuals and institutes participating in valuing, protecting and advancing the worth and rights of women and children. We are an organisation that has disenfranchised tribal and indigenous women and children, especially victims of domestic violence, single mothers’, poorest farmers, and deprived ethnic minority tribal from impoverished, remote rural disadvantaged and underprivileged slum communities. OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG AND LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE KENOSIS Foundation offers Volunteering and internships for high school and university students, working professionals, travelers and like-minded people by linking them to communities whose projects have been presented and approved by the Foundation. Our project area a great way for anyone to spare their time, skills and invest contribution to build and sustain its good work. People choose our projects because of the diversity of opportunities offered and the support they are given. We have projects ranging from childcare, elderly care, health and hygiene, Teaching and education, building and renovation, women’s empowerment, youth employment skills building, healthcare and medicine, medical student electives, agriculture and farming, microcredit, micro-finance, social work internship, NGO supports and development, fundraising, medical and communication, documentation for fundraising are to name a few. All our projects are flexible with start dates, from short (2-4 weeks) term to longer term (above 1-to 3 months or a year) volunteering programs, and anyone above 17+ can apply to volunteer. Each community project is carefully screened and we handle all the arrangements so you can focus on making the most of your time abroad. Everyone has something to offer and we will help you find that special place to share your talents while learning new skills, meeting new people, make a real difference, and have the experience of a lifetime. Young people would grow as a person and become a truly global citizen. We partner with various schools, colleges, universities, churches, Hospitals, Clinics, NGOs and CBOs across the world.
