🎬 Stories today. Careers tomorrow.

RCB’s Vocational Service initiative, “Emerging Careers Behind the Camera,” successfully concluded its Script Writing & Storytelling training at St. Anne’s Girls Pre-University School.

Over two sessions, 65 students explored the art of storytelling and created 20 original stories, with Romance emerging as the most popular theme, followed by Cultural, Psycho-Thriller and Adventure.

Led by filmmaker and creative storyteller Mr. Islahuddin, the programme is helping economically challenged young women build creative and technical skills and discover pathways to careers behind the camera.

Through our Share-a-Smile project, Rotary Club of Bangalore reached out to Aaraike Ashram, a haven for neglected and abandoned elderly, with 30 mattresses and 75 pillows supporting 75 elderly residents.

What makes service truly meaningful is the compassion behind it. ❤️

A delightful storytelling session of The Clever Plan was held at the Shankara Rotary Library on 4 September 2026, bringing suspense, excitement and wonder to 7 young readers.

As the pages turned, the children discovered an important lesson: with cleverness and presence of mind, there is often a way out of danger. 💡🌟

🎬 Opening Doors to Careers Behind the Camera!

The RCB International Film Festival launched its “Emerging Careers Behind the Camera” training initiative with a hands-on session on Script Writing & Storytelling at St. Ann’s Girls Degree College.

With 40 young women participating, the session led by Mr. Islahuddin N. S. introduced them to the creative world of cinema, storytelling, filmmaking technology and the many opportunities that exist beyond the screen.

Through 3 structured sessions, the initiative aims to build skills, confidence and awareness—helping young women explore cinema as a meaningful career pathway. 🎥✨

Empowering girls with the knowledge to understand their hormones, care for their changing bodies, and build healthier habits for life. 🌸

The 11th session of “Hormones in Harmony for a Healthy Life” brought together 595 students and 25 teachers at St. Mary’s Girls’ High School, Bengaluru, with expert insights from Dr. Priya Chinappa and Dr. Deepali.

From hormones and menstrual health to sleep, nutrition, exercise, screen time and stress management — the message was simple: understand your body, make healthy choices, and grow stronger every day. ✨
