Looking back at a magical evening last week at the historic Rumbach Synagogue in Budapest. Honored to have been invited by Iván Fischer, who hosted the evening, and grateful to play in such a magnificent space. Thanks to everyone at OMIKE for making this evening possible and to Zsolt Máthé for the brilliant narration of Stravinsky's A Soldier's Tale.

איזה ערב מרגש היה לנו במרכז למוסיקה קאמרית ביום ראשון! כבוד רב לארח את צבי אבני, ותיק מלחיני ישראל, עם ביצוע יצירתו "מעבר לפרגוד" בקונצרט של הפרויקט הקאמרי הישראלי. כמו יצירות ישראליות רבות נוספות המשולבות לאורך העונה בתכניות הקונצרטים של המרכז, גם יצירתו של אבני בוצעה במסגרת שנת ה-80 לייסוד הקונסרבטוריון, שכן אבני נמנה עם תלמידי הקומפוזיציה והתיאוריה במוסד בשנות ה-50 של המאה ה-20. היצירה התקבלה בחום על ידי הקהל ובהתרגשות רבה על ידי אבני עצמו, כפי שמעידות גם התמונות.
עוד כלל הקונצרט ביצוע סוחף לעיבוד המרהיב של יונתן קרן לשמינייה ל"שחרזדה" של רימסקי קורסקוב, ואת הדיברטימנטו הנפלא של מוצרט לשלישיית כלי קשת.
תודתנו לפרויקט הקאמרי הישראלי על עוד קונצרט מרתק ומלהיב, ולקהל הרב שהצטרף אלינו גם לערב לא שגרתי זה!
