💜 Calling All Women's Groups in Wicklow 💜

The Wicklow DVA Network and the Local Community Safety Partnership are delighted to support the Million Stars Project as part of our "Souls of Our Shoes" event on Friday, 27th November.

We would love for local women's groups to get involved. If your group would like to participate, please see the attached poster for more information.

Participating groups will also be invited to send one or two representatives to attend the event on 27th November.

Wicklow Local Community Safety Partnership would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of the participants who took part in the Tractor Safety Awareness Training programme through these summer months.

To date, we have almost 90 certified participants, which is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the commitment of those who completed the training.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, FRS Training, and the many local farmers who generously donated the use of their tractors and trailers, especially Naas Farm Machinery, Brian Byrne, Mark, Willie and Sharon from Dayne's Agri Services.

We would also like to thank The Hillbilly Tractor Run, Valleymount GAA, Hillbrook Hub and St. Kevin's Community College, Dunlavin for the use of their venues. Jack Paton for all of his work encouraging participants to get involved, An Garda Síochána Wicklow for coming out to have a talk with our young farmers, and everyone who worked tirelessly to support the delivery of this important initiative.

Your support, dedication, and collaboration have helped make this programme a great success, contributing to safer farming practices across our communities.

Well done to everyone involved! 🚜👏
