roblems and challenges facing our nation today. For many years the Tiglin Challenge outreach team have served men and women affected by homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction on our streets.Tiglin gives people with addiction problems a second chance, it gives them life beyond addiction. We strive to help the ‘whole person’, not just the substance abuse. The Tiglin Challenge approach is to teach a whole new way of living by addressing family relationships, work attitudes, self image, peer pressure, temptation, community relationships and a variety of other life skills. Edith, David & Dolores run the assessments for our service users at the Lighthouse on Pearse Street. She meets people at their most vulnerable stages in life, and then walks with them through the various stages until a bed opens at one of our centres. She is the bridge between someone's decision for change and their new life.

The Lighthouse Café serves 100,000 meals a year and provides essential supplies like clothing & toiletries for the homeless on Pearse Street.

This summer, our service users urgently need a few things.

FREE GRINDS, study packs and snacks available. Coming soon, we'll also have laptops available to use if you need one.

We are super excited to announce we have two FREE Grind support sessions from teachers with multiple years experience supporting secondary school and university level students.

* FRENCH- Tuesday 2nd June: 3-5pm

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Moya Brennan.

Moya was not only a remarkable artist, but also a compassionate and generous soul who showed great kindness and support to Tiglin over the years. We are so grateful for all her support at various events, where she was always incredibly generous with her time and talents. Her encouragement and belief in the work being done meant so much to so many.

Her legacy will live on through her music, her faith, and the countless lives she touched.
