As many of you may be aware, the community centre has become a hub of activity the last couple of months, with the Astro turf being infilled and new netting around the Astro pitch. Beautiful murals around the playground and a tidy up of the sensory garden.
You may also have noticed a lot of builders vans and other trades around the main building. Well lots of upgrades are underway, with the building being insulated, a sensory room being developed and the main hall having an overhaul to enable full access to the stage area for all, whilst giving more floor space for all activities along with comfortable seating and plenty of other benefits. The million dollar questions are ‘When we will it be finished……’. ‘ …when can we use the new facilities….’
The current upgrades to the Astro turf area and playground are now completed and in use.
The main centre hall and sensory room are currently under construction, significant progress has been made, however due to the many trades involved and their inter dependencies we cannot give an exact date at present, but we will keep you updated……. Watch this space…
