Intercounties 2026
After all the excitement of Euro 2026 the competition calendar continues straight away with the Intercounties taking place this weekend in Rossnowlagh.

Sligo are the current champions and are going for four in a row but can they be stopped? Clare have claimed they'll be back to break their hoodoo as they've never won the trophy before.

Entries are open now until 5pm on Friday and you need three or four to make up a team. At the moment conditions look good with Sunday looking the best. So enter your team via this link at https://www.irishsurfing.ie/events and updates will be posted on Rossnowlagh Surf Club socials pages.

EURO SURF JUNIOR 2026, FINALS DAY

As we look back on an incredible Euro Surf Junior 2026, it’s time to celebrate everyone who made this unforgettable event possible.

Congratulations to every competitor who travelled to Bundoran and gave their all in the water. The level of surfing, commitment and sportsmanship on display has been incredible, and we hope every athlete leaves Ireland with memories that will last a lifetime.

But an event of this scale doesn’t happen because of the surfers alone.

To the coaches, team managers, judges, officials, volunteers, water safety crews, medics, production teams, photographers, event staff, sponsors, partners, local businesses and the wider Bundoran community — thank you.

So much of what makes an event like this successful happens behind the scenes: the early mornings, late nights, changing plans, moving equipment, checking forecasts, preparing podiums, keeping athletes safe and making sure the show keeps moving.

Your dedication, professionalism and commitment have been truly outstanding.

From all of us at Irish Surfing, thank you for helping make Euro Surf Junior 2026 a championship to remember.
