Lots of work and improvements happening around the village again this week.
Thanks to Vincent Corcoran for giving the mural area a fresh layer of gravel.
The fences around the village got a well needed freshen up thanks to our CE worker Denise.
And our volunteers were busy washing planters and signs,.
Again we would ask all villagers to play their part in keeping our village clean and tidy.

A big thank you to Lawn N Order Rathcabbin for helping us out by mowing the verge and creating a pathway through our meadow. So everyone can have a walk through and enjoy the wildflowers as they are popping up. 🌼🌸🌺🏡

A great day planned on Sunday in the village. Please come out, support and enjoy a meet up with your neighbours.

The nepeta and yarrow on the entrance to the village has really come on. It's now in year 2.
There are many happy pollinators buzzing around in it.

These photos were taken on May 21st! Last night we tackled the weeds, nettles, thistles and grass coming up through the bed and the daisies that had taken over since.

The pollinators love them but that take over and can suffocate or stifle other plants from their growth, so we picked a few too but left enough behind.

The buzz of bee’s was lovely in the nepita last night. They were busy in this large bed at the same time as 4 of us. Some snails were too!
