Lorrha Development Association would like to extend our sincere sympathy to Kathleen and all the King family on the passing of Liam. We, who have over the years worked on Lorrha Development Association committees, remember with gratitude and fondness his generosity to us when we were fund raising. Liam, or sometimes Ronan, very kindly donated bales of straw to our Christmas Market, delivering them on a big trailer to the village. Once when he somehow forgot to do this he made a very substantial cash donation instead. Always much appreciated by the hard working committees. May Liam rest in eternal peace.

🎉 Congratulations to all the amazing volunteers and management of SCÉAL Community Shop, Lorrha! Your dedication and commitment to our village is truly immeasurable. ❤️

We were delighted to welcome Minister for Rural and Community Development Dara Calleary to SCÉAL Community Shop on 24 July during his visit to County Tipperary.

With support from the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP), SCÉAL has gone from strength to strength. A fantastic achievement and a real asset to our community!
