We would sincerely like to wish everyone the very best of luck in their Junior and Leaving Certificate exams, which begin tomorrow.

In particular, we wish Eva and Luca every success in their Leaving Certificate, and Clíona, Juliette, Katie, Patrick and Seán the very best as they begin their Junior Certificate exams.

Best of luck to 18 of our swimmers who headed north to Bangor to compete in the Ian Wright Memorial Gala this weekend.

We also wish the best of luck to our friends from the South East Development Squad who have also made the trip up to compete.

We hope everyone has a great weekend both in and out of the pool. 🏊 Enjoy!! Go Ducks!! 🦆

🏊‍♂️ New Ross Swimming Club at Leinster/Connacht Championships 🏊‍♀️

New Ross Swimming Club swimmers proudly flew the flag for the club last weekend at the Leinster/Connacht Junior & Senior Long Course Championships 🇮🇪, delivering outstanding performances against some of the strongest competition in the country.

For almost all of our swimmers, this gala marked their first experience competing in the senior arena 🌟. Despite the step up in competition, the team embraced the challenge with confidence and determination, showing great composure and spirit throughout the weekend 💪

There were superb performances across the board, with Seán, Patrick and Juliette all reaching finals 👏 — a fantastic achievement at this level. There were pbs and national QTs and CTs also achieved. 💪

Competing under sweltering conditions ☀️, our swimmers displayed tremendous resilience and commitment. In true NRSC spirit, they battled through every session with great energy, effort and determination, representing the club with pride both in and out of the pool.

A huge congratulations goes to all nine swimmers who competed 🎉, as well as to the parents and coaches, Fran and Paul, for their continued support and dedication throughout the weekend 🙌

Well done everyone on a fantastic championship performance 👏🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Best of luck to these 9 swimmers as they take to the pool over the next 3 days in the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin. They will be competing against the best in Leinster and Connacht. Everyone in NRSC is cheering you on. Small club, big heart!! 💚💙 Go Ducks!! 🦆

A huge well done to all New Ross swimmers who competed at the Wexford Round Robin in Enniscorthy yesterday!!👏🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Their success was a reflection of all the hard work being put in at training. 💪

It was fantastic to see the club travel in such great numbers, swim so well, support each other brilliantly and most importantly have fun throughout the day. The cheering and encouragement from poolside for teammates was outstanding and made it a really proud day for the club. 💚💙

A special mention as well to those swimmers competing at their very first gala — you should all be extremely proud of yourselves! Stepping up to race for the first time is a huge achievement and you represented the club brilliantly.

A massive well done also to Eimear, Emmet, Evan and Leagh who swam brilliantly along with other friends of New Ross Swimming Club at the Munster LC Championships 2026. 👏

A busy time for the club but well done to all involved, swimmers, parents, team managers, coaches and all that help out along the way . 💚💙🙏
