Dear Pink Rock 10K Participant,
As excitement builds for the Pink Rock 10K Road Race, organised by St. Joseph’s A.C., we
want to ensure that your race day is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Race Number Collection:
You can collect your race number at Rosbercon Sports Centre, Eircode Y3your race day is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Race Number Collection
You can collect your race number at Rosbercon Sports Centre, Eircode Y34 TK33, at the
following times:
Saturday: 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday: From 9:30 a.m.
Bus Transfers:
There will be no parking at the start or finish areas.
A bus service will operate:
To the start line from Rosbercon Sports Centre.
From the finish line back to Rosbercon Sports Centre after the race.
You can also run the route as a warm-up or cool-down:
1.6 km from the Sports Centre to the start line.
2.5 km from the finish line back to the Sports Centre.
These are open roads, so please follow normal pedestrian rules and take care.
Bag Drop:
The bag drop will be available on the bus travelling to the start line.
Please leave your clearly labelled bag in the designated area on the bus. Your bag will be
transported to the finish area and can be collected after the race.
Please do not leave valuables in your bag. This service is provided at your own risk.
Pacers:
Pacers will be available for the following finish times:
45 minutes,50 minutes,55 minutes and 60 minutes
Look out for the pacers at the start and choose the group that matches your target time.
Toilet Facilities:
There will be three portable toilets at the start area and one portable toilet at the finish area.
Race Route and Safety Guidelines:
An overview of the route is attached. Prepare for a memorable run through Pink Rock, with
spectacular views along the way.
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone:
Keep right throughout the race.
Follow all traffic rules. While parts of the route will be closed, some sections may remain
open to traffic.
Stay alert and be aware of traffic, your surroundings and other runners.
Follow the instructions of race officials, marshals and volunteers.
