A group of residents of Mountshannon, and surrounding areas, have banded together to form The Mountshannon Market (Initiative). This initiative has come about in response to the economic issues that face us all but mainly to provide a platform for the distribution of local sesonal produce and to support all and any local cottage industry. Producers and consumers alike have come together to state that they wish to see such a market in Mountshannon.
