Clew Bay Sheepdog Trials Association Ireland Clew Bay Sheepdog Trials Association is a non- profit organisation, based in the West of Ireland, Co Mayo.

Clew Bay Sheepdog Trials Association was formed in 2014 and is a non- profit organisation whose aim is to encourage, promote, and train members to use their dogs for farm work and Sheepdog Trials in a safe and controlled manner. The association holds Nursery, Beginner and Open trials throughout the year for its members and non- members to compete.

Many thanks to Andrew Glynn and Bimeda, whom are sponsor of our tria, which is in aid of the ISDS World Sheepdog Trial 2026 .

All come along for a great testing trial , big outrun and testing heavy crossbred ewes , Suffolk and Charlaois crosses whom are powerful sheep .

Plenty of Bimeda products to be won and a worthwhile trial to attend in advance of the Nationals to prep your dog .

Results of Open trials on Sunday 12th of July, in aid of Mayo Hospice, hosted by Michael Hastings.
Thank you to Michael for hosting and to his great team who had plenty of water out for the dogs. A challenging course with the wind making some dogs unable to hear on certain parts of the course and sheep that were especially difficult to pen. Thanks go also to Tom Gill for judging the first trial and Michael Oliver Moran the second. Apologies on my part for the late posting of results.
