It was great to have a stall at the Expo today in St. Peter’s Church, with over 350 people passing through. Thank you to the team for organising an excellent event. 👏

We had the opportunity to introduce many people to the idea of volunteering with a credit union, highlighting that their boards are made up of volunteers. Plenty of attendees spoke positively about the role their credit unions play in their communities beyond direct volunteering.

There were also a number of people in attendance who are, or have previously been, involved with credit unions, which is always encouraging. It was great to connect with the and the work being carried out on a national level during Volunteer Week.

It’s always important to highlight that credit unions are rooted in the communities they serve. 🤝
