The core purpose of the company is to promote rural development and tackle social exclusion and LCRL does this through various programmes including:

๐ŸคฉThe Ukrainian Community was delighted to celebrate Ukrainian Celebration Day on Sunday, 23rd August, in Pig Market Lane, Longford Town ๐Ÿคฉ
It was a wonderful day filled with live music, arts and crafts workshops, and delicious Ukrainian treats. The event brought together the Ukrainian and local communities to celebrate Ukrainian culture, traditions and creativity in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us, supported the event and helped make the celebration such a special and memorable day!

A Community Estate Day in the Ardnacassa estate was supported by Longford Community Resources Clg ,SICAP Programme, Empowering Communities Programme, Longford County Council Slainte Care & Longford Womenโ€™s Link. The event was to thank the community for their support in attempts being made to address some of the issues which impact the lives of the local community. The ongoing collaboration between organisations and residents is evidence that working together makes positive change possible to achieve.
