Leitrim Community Training Centre Leitrim CTC opened in October 2017 and are currently offering Hairdressing and Catering courses.

We provide training and employment needs of early school leavers, primarily aged between 16 and 21 at the learners own pace.and in an informal setting.

Today our trainees took on the challenge of planning, shopping for, and preparing lunch on a budget- and they did an amazing job 👏. Working together as a team, they created a delicious menu featuring steak sandwich, chilli prawns and Ukrainian 🇺🇦 inspired dishes such as Borscht and Pelmeni.

We took a walk through time this week with a visit to Folkpark Riverstown . From traditional cottages and old-school classrooms to fascinating displays of rural life, every corner told a story of Ireland’s past. A wonderful day spent stepping back in time and appreciating the heritage, history, and craftsmanship that shaped generations. Definitely worth a visit!
