Ballymac CE Scheme Community Employment, Community Development Programme To ensure that the Schemes work programme are carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible.

History: Ballymacelligott Community Employment Scheme was established in 1993 as an amalgamation of a number of small schemes Ballymacelligott, Currow, Forrenfore and Ballyfinnane. The company was set up and incorporated on the 28th March 2004 to manage the Scheme and to achieve the objectives as per the company mission statement. To provide interesting meaningful work for the participants on the

Community Employment Scheme sponsored by the Company. To extend and develop the skills of the participants by having them involved in all aspects of the Scheme projects. To maintain and improve the facilities of the groups/clubs now affiliated to the Company and represented on the Board of the Company either as Directors or Associated Directors. To promote as good a community spirit as possible in the areas where our Scheme functions. To promote our Scheme and everybody involved in it, participants, Supervisory staff, sponsors and DSP.
