The success of our 8th August Pakistan Mela 2026 would simply not have been possible without the incredible people working together behind the scenes.

A huge THANK YOU to every member of the POC Ireland Team and POC-ISC Team who gave their time, energy and support to make this event possible. 🇵🇰🇮🇪

From months of planning and preparation to setting up, managing the stage, welcoming guests, supporting families, coordinating activities and staying until the very end every contribution mattered. What people see on the day is only a few hours of celebration, but behind those hours are weeks of hard work, late nights, countless messages, meetings and teamwork.

We are incredibly proud of what we achieved together.

POC is not one person POC is a TEAM.

LEARNING ABOUT PAKISTAN THROUGH FUN! 🇵🇰

Every year at our August Pakistan Mela, POC Ireland holds a special Pakistan Quiz Competition for our young generation.

This year, the quiz was wonderfully led by Sofia Khokhar, and Leena. Bringing our children together for a fun and educational activity. 🌟

The purpose of this annual quiz is to encourage our children growing up in Ireland to learn more about Pakistan — its history, culture, heritage and national identity. 🇵🇰❤️

A special thank you to Sofia Khokhar for leading this year's quiz and to all our brilliant young participants for taking part.

Every year at our August Pakistan Mela, POC Ireland organises a number of fun, cultural and family competitions to bring our community together and encourage everyone to get involved. ❤️

CELEBRATING OUR YOUNG STARS AT PAKISTAN MELA 2026
One of the most beautiful and meaningful parts of our POC Ireland Pakistan Mela on 8th August was our stage activities, proudly led and coordinated by Dr. Zubair.

We were honoured to have three incredibly talented young performers who confidently took to the stage and made us all proud: Muhammad Idrees – beautiful Tilawat-e-Quran Paak 📖
Zain Zubair – wonderful recitation of the 99 Names of Allah
Arman – a patriotic and energetic Milli Naghma
Amna and Fatima- DIL DIL pakistan Song

Each performance brought something special to the stage and reminded us how important it is to give our younger generation opportunities to celebrate their faith, culture, heritage and talent.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Zubair for leading and supporting these stage activities, and a huge round of applause for our three young stars.
At POC Ireland, we are proud to provide a platform where our community especially our young generation can come forward, perform with confidence and stay connected to their roots.
