💛 A Huge Thank You to Tullyallen Warrior Fitness 💛

NECRET and the staff of the Oncology & Haematology Unit at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital were deeply appreciative to welcome members of Tullyallen Warrior Fitness to the Unit recently, where they presented an incredible donation of €7,443.

This fantastic fundraising effort will help support NECRET's ongoing work in improving the treatment, care and outcomes of cancer patients attending the Oncology & Haematology Unit.

A sincere thank you to Damien, everyone at Warrior Fitness, and all those who contributed to this wonderful fundraising effort. Your commitment, generosity and community spirit are greatly appreciated.

Boyne Valley Camino Challenge Registration Open

Join a fun challenge of an amazing 25km walk and ramble through the beautiful Boyne Valley countryside whilst helping NECRET in its everyday fight against cancer.
To receive your registration form please email [email protected] or text 086 7773294 with your full name, address, and mobile number. To participate completed registration forms must be received no later than midday on Monday July 13th.
Limited numbers will apply so please register as soon as possible.

Starting from St Peter’s Church in Drogheda led by wonderfully experienced tour leaders who have very kindly volunteered their services, the trail follows the River Boyne before gaining the woodlands of the Townley Estate and then meandering quiet lanes to Mellifont, where there will be an opportunity for that much earned packed lunch or other refreshments. A separate return route gives a total walk of 25km.

On a beautiful sunshine-filled day, a fantastic event was enjoyed by all.

Thank you sincerely to everyone who participated, attended and supported the fundraiser — your generosity and support are greatly appreciated. 💙

And the support continues this week with the Meath Vintage Group Table Quiz Night taking place in Dolly’s Bar on tonight at 9pm.

Yesterday was and at NECRET we would like to take a moment to recognise and sincerely thank the incredible nurses at the heart of cancer care within the Oncology & Haematology Unit at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. 💙

From providing expert clinical care to offering comfort, reassurance and support to patients and families during some of life’s most difficult moments, their compassion, dedication and professionalism make an immeasurable difference every single day.

We are also deeply grateful to all nurses working tirelessly across our hospitals, clinics and communities. Your care, strength and humanity are truly inspiring.

🚜🎉 Only a Few Days To Go! 🎉🚜

We are so excited for the upcoming Meath Vintage Group Fundraising Tractor Run and would really appreciate your support if you can join us on the day 💛

NECRET is incredibly grateful to the Meath Vintage Group for organising this fantastic Vintage Tractor Run in support of the patients of the Oncology Unit at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

Massive Thank You 💛

NECRET would like to sincerely thank Knockbridge ladies Dolores McNally and Mary McArdle, along with their organising committee, for hosting a truly wonderful Afternoon Tea Dance fundraiser.

Held in Knockbridge Community Centre, the event raised an incredible €13,000 in support of our work — a fantastic achievement and a testament to the power of community spirit.

We are so grateful to everyone who attended, contributed, and supported so generously. Your kindness and effort make a real difference.
