Darkness Into Light Laytown/Bettystown Darkness Into Light Navan Pieta. Ending Su***de. Beginning Hope

One of our Juvenile members, Jamie Hunt, is running a marathon (his first!) in memory of his former teammate & friend Ryan Griffin who tragically passed away in February 2022. All proceeds raised by Jamie’s ‘Run for Ryan’ will go directly to Pieta House.
Jamie is starting his run at 10am on Saturday the 29th of November from outside The Old Courthouse in Duleek and will finish the 42.2km route at our GAA Grounds on the Navan Road. Full route details via QR code below (‘Run for Ryan’ Instagram page).

No more silence. It is time to speak out about children and the need for su***de and self-harm prevention. 📣

More than 1 in 3 people who turn to Pieta in crisis are under 18. Many are teenagers. Some are still in primary school.

This year, our No More Silence campaign is about making sure young people know Pieta is here for them too. And, together with you, it’s about making su***de and self-harm prevention a priority for children.

Ireland’s youth su***de rate is higher than the international average. Every day, we see that su***de and self-harm are real and urgent issues for our young people.

We need people to speak out, to make sure every child knows help is here.
