Dealing with Postnatal Depression?

You are not alone. 💜

Postnatal depression can affect anyone, and sometimes it can be difficult to talk about how you’re really feeling. Hearing someone else share their experience can help you feel less alone and remind you that recovery is possible.

🎧 Take a moment to listen to our interview on Spotify, where we talk openly about postnatal depression, personal experiences and the importance of support.

💜 Listen, share, and remember — you don’t have to go through this alone.

Postnatal depression (PND) is an illness that happens as a result of having a baby. It can happen after any birth, can last from anywhere from three months to a year and, if unrecognized, can continue on into the second year. The feeling of "baby blues" comes on around the second or third day after giving birth. It is quite normal and very common. It usually only lasts for a day or two but in a number of women it could last up to a week. If it goes on for longer than ten days you should visit your GP as a small percentage of women can get PND from delivery.

If you think you might be experiencing postnatal depression or someone around you, reach out today, we will help you find support.
