A delightful storytelling session where children can enjoy enchanting tales told in Arabic and English. Perfect for little ears to explore language, imagination, and the joy of stories.

Dr. Sanaa Khabbar is an English Language Teacher at University College Cork. Originally from Morocco, she is passionate about languages and storytelling for children. Sanaa has been co-facilitating monthly Arabic storytelling sessions for children at Cork City Library since September 2024.

قضينا وقتًا مليئًا بالمرح والخيال مع أصدقائنا الصغار! 🌟
بدأنا رحلتنا بقراءة قصة ملك اسكتلندا والعنكبوت التي ألهمتنا بالمثابرة والإصرار، ثم انتقلنا إلى قصة الأولاد والضفادع حيث تفاعل الأطفال بحماس وشاركوا بأفكارهم الجميلة. 🐸
بعد ذلك أطلقنا العنان لطاقتهم في اللعب والمرح، وصنعنا فوانيس ورقية بألوان زاهية أضاءت المكان بابتساماتهم ✨
واختتمنا يومنا بمسابقة تلوين مليئة بالإبداع والمفاجآت الرائعة.
كان يومًا نابضًا بالحكايات والضحكات والإنجازات الصغيرة التي تصنع ذكريات كبيرة 😊📚

Step into a world of imagination, colourful characters, and exciting stories — a perfect way for children to discover the joy of reading!
📍 Where? Cork City Library
📅 When? Saturday, 22nd November
⏰ Time? 1:00 - 2:00PM
This friendly and relaxed session is designed especially for young children — no need to be fluent in Arabic! Kids will naturally learn Arabic words and vocabulary as they listen, play, and explore stories in a fun and engaging way.
Our storytelling experience is educational, inspiring, and packed with creativity, helping little readers connect with language through activities, imagination, and laughter.
🌟 Free entry — open to all children aged 4–7
🌟 Parents must accompany their children at all times.

Come along and enjoy stories, learning, and magical moments. Let’s make reading an adventure! 📚💫
