We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Joyce Thomas. He went missing on the night of 19th December 2025 while returning home from his work at Ballincurrig Nursing Home, Co. Cork. Following Garda investigations, it has been confirmed that he met with an accident and tragically fell into a small river. His body has been handed over to the HSE.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and two young children during this incredibly difficult time. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives, and friends.

May he rest in peace.
