Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note about the Cong Post Office vacancy. Unless someone takes over the contract, the post office will close in October.

👉 An Post has extended the deadline to Friday, Sept 5th — but so far, no applications have been made.

Losing the post office would be a huge blow to Cong — for businesses, pension collections, and everyday services. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
We are asking our county councillors to help us save the post office.
There have to be suitable locations available in the village just to find someone to take on the task of running it.
A village like Cong needs its post office.
