Clonea Rathgormack Community Playgroup has been serving our local community since 1987.

✨️This morning we had such a special Afternoon Tea at playschool in honor of Mothers day with our wonderful mammies, nannies, aunties, childminders, and the very special people in our little ones’ lives.

It was a beautiful morning filled with tea, sweet treats and chats.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a warm and memorable event. Our playschool community is so lucky to have such amazing people supporting our little learners. ✨️

Our last visitor of our community helpers week was Caitriona ✨️ she is the owner of Ni Lasaigh in carrick on suir

Caitiona brought her styling head and everyone got a turn of taking out the rollers and making the hair curly.

She told us all about washing our hair, how hair is coloured and cut and how only grown ups should cut hair ✂️

She even let us explore all her hair supplies and brought each child a lovely goodie bag 💖

Today we welcomed Nicola and Sam to playschool, 2 amazing paramedics!! They told us all about their job and about saving people that are sick or had an accident.

We even got to go into the ambulance and have a look at all the equipment and meet Boo Boo bear.

Sam showed us how the radio worked and Nicola checked the teachers blood pressure 🤣 all perfect of course 😂

And before they left we even got to hear the siren 🚨

What an amazing visit 🤩

Today we welcomed Mary, a Radiographer 👩‍⚕️

The children really loved her visit and were so interested to hear all about x rays and sonograms.

Mary brought along some Xrays of a broken leg and scans of a baby 👶

The children had so many questions and Mary told them all about how the xray machine works, how its nothing to be scared of, all about casts, crutches and bandages.

Today we had a really special visitor 👮‍♂️

Garda Brendan came to visit playschool 🚓

He told all about catching bad guys, how grown ups should drive slowly and carefully, what to do if we get lost, what number we should call in an emergency and so much more!!!

He even arrested poor Shaunagh 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks so much for such an enjoyable visit 👮‍♂️
