Bray Chamber were delighted to welcome members of the Belgium Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Ireland, to Bray, last Tuesday, at Chamber House. for a highly engaging discussion on the fast-evolving role of AI in business, led by Ms. Eva Perez of IADT.

Returning for the third time, Eva began her presentation by demonstrating how AI tools can be used to refresh and enhance a professional LinkedIn profile. She then explored the latest advancements in AI for updating company profiles and visual content, sparking an open discussion on how AI is now embedded in our daily routines—from smartphones and email scheduling to broader office management.

Eva also highlighted the growing importance of AI for small businesses, particularly in streamlining time-consuming tasks and allowing teams to focus on higher-value work. A detailed demonstration of NotebookLM, including a step-by-step walkthrough of how she created an informative video presentation, was a standout element of the session.

The upcoming introduction of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, due to be rolled out in August 2026, prompted a lively and insightful discussion among attendees.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, followed by excellent networking opportunities as members from both Chambers connected and exchanged ideas.

A sincere thank you to Eva for another informative and engaging session.

Bray & District Chamber of Commerce Marks 70th Anniversary with President’s Dinner and Historical Archive Project

The Bray & District Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2026, marking seven decades of supporting local enterprise, community development, and collaboration among businesses in the Bray area.

To commemorate this milestone year, the Chamber has announced plans for a President’s Dinner — a special gala event bringing together members, local leaders, and community partners to celebrate the Chamber’s enduring contribution to Bray’s economic and civic life. The dinner will be hosted in The Glenview hotel on Friday 6th November 2026 and guest speakers will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

As part of the 70th anniversary initiative, the Chamber in collaboration with Bray Cualann Historical Society is also embarking on a heritage and archival project to preserve its history. The project will collect and collate documents, photographs, and memorabilia from the Chamber’s founding in 1956 to the present day. This archive will highlight the business and civic stories that have shaped Bray’s growth and prosperity over the decades.

“We’re immensely proud to reach this significant anniversary,” said Jonathan Donnelly President of the Bray & District Chamber of Commerce. “For 70 years, the Chamber has represented the energy, resilience, and collaboration that define our town. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also looking to the future — continuing to support Bray’s businesses in an ever‑changing world.”

The Chamber invites past presidents, members, and local residents to share materials or memories that may form part of the archive. Contributions can be submitted by emailing [email protected] or by contacting the Chamber office directly.

Further information about the President’s Dinner will be announced soon.

This year, the TY students in Pres Bray have been a wonderful support to Bray Chamber, assisting and helping out with community events like the town's Christmas Lights and, more recently, the St. Patrick's parade in Bray. We would like to take this opportunity to wish them all the best when they, along with TY students in Loreto Bray, present their TY Musical Greece, on Sat 18th April at 2pm in Loreto Sports Hall. Tickets are available from Eventbrite. Best of luck to all the TY students. We are sure it will be an amazing show.
