Planning for Bray’s Future

During the week, we welcomed Superintendent Tara King for a great discussion about her plans for Bray. She was enthusiastic about the potential for the Town Team and the benefits of working closely with the Chamber to support our town.

⚽ Exciting Times for Bray Wanderers!

We also had the pleasure of meeting Bruce from Bray Wanderers. With an impressive background, Bruce brings a fascinating wealth of experience to the club. His positivity about Bray and its potential was infectious. Exciting times ahead for Bray Wanderers.

💻 **Copilot Live: Watch AI Do the Work**

Yesterday, we welcomed well over 30 people to a practical and engaging session exploring what Microsoft Copilot can really do in the working day.

Organised by Bray & District Chamber of Commerce in partnership with IACT and The Glasshouses, the event featured IACT trainers Fiona Hannon and Eoin Lynch. With live demonstrations, real workplace examples, no technical jargon, and plenty of useful takeaways, it was a great opportunity to see AI in action.

The Glasshouses Bray offers 18 serviced offices, 24 hot desks and 3 meeting rooms, plus a generous member lounge at 12 Prince of Wales Tce Bray.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make it such a successful event!

To mark World Mental Health Day, Bray Chamber, in collaboration with Chambers Ireland, invites members to join a special webinar on Thursday 8 October exploring one of the biggest challenges facing workplaces today: supporting mental health and wellbeing at work.
We are delighted to be joined by Operation Transformation’s Dr Eddie Murphy, clinical psychologist, author, and mental health advocate who will deliver a keynote address on Building Mental Fitness in a Busy Workplace. He will share the skills needed to navigate the pressures of modern working life and to help individuals better manage stress, build mental resilience and establish healthy boundaries.
The session will also introduce a free workplace mental health toolkit developed through the SME WellBusiness Charter, a free initiative from Chambers Ireland and Healthy Ireland. While the toolkit provides a practical starting point, the Charter offers a free year-round programme of resources, training and support to help SMEs build positive mental health in the workplace. With mental health challenges continuing to impact absenteeism, retention and engagement, this session will help leaders and managers get started with practical guidance, simple actions and real-world insights.
Bring your team together to mark World Mental Health Day and join an important conversation on mental health at work.
Date: Thursday 8th October
