Rest in peace Irene. Our condolences to all the Cryan and Barry family.

🖤 It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Irene Cryan, beloved mother of our wonderful Under 14 player & Captain Aoife.

Irene never missed a game and was always a wonderful supporter of Aoife and Boyle Camogie. She will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

On behalf of everyone in Boyle Camogie, we extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to Irene’s husband, Michael, and her children, Conor, Sinéad and Aoife.

We are also thinking of the wider Cryan and Barry families at this incredibly difficult time.

As a mark of respect, our Minor Final tomorrow has been postponed, and all club matches are postponed until further notice.

🕯️ Our thoughts and prayers are also with St Michael’s GAA & LGFA Club, and with all of Irene’s friends, teammates, neighbours and everyone who knew and loved her. 🕯️
