Wednesday evening marked the end of the Boyle Men’s Group Willow Basket Weaving workshops. A huge thank you to Joe for teaching the group and sharing his skills, and to GRETB for funding the workshops. It was a great experience for everyone involved.

Today was our very first “Let’s Play Outside” session, and what a fantastic adventure it was!

We experienced a little bit of everything the weather had to offer — heavy rain, light showers, and even some beautiful sunshine. But none of it dampened our little adventurers’ spirits. As my granny always used to say, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!” Thankfully, we were well prepared and more than happy to embrace the rain along the way!

There was plenty of fun, exploration, laughter, and outdoor play, making for a wonderful first session. We loved seeing everyone enjoy the great outdoors, whatever the weather.

We’re already looking forward to our next adventure together — stay tuned for details of our next Let’s Play Outside session. We can’t wait to see you there!

A little reminder that there is no singing group this evening and for the next 2 weeks after that while Sarah, our Singing Group leader, takes a well-earned break..

She did it! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Lara, who completed the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon on Sunday in aid of our Boyle Family Resource Centre.

(In case anyone somehow missed it... although with all our posts, that seems highly unlikely! 😂)

What an incredible achievement and a wonderful act of generosity in raising funds for our community. We are extremely proud of Lara's determination, and kindness, and we are so grateful for her support.
