Saoirse Casey is an Irish singer-songwriter, pianist, and composer. Daughter of Paddy Casey, her music blends dreamy, atmospheric soundscapes with earthy, heartfelt storytelling. Raised in a musical family by singer-songwriter parents, she taught herself piano and guitar before beginning to write songs from a young age.
Her first major performance came as a support act for Declan O’Rourke at the INEC Arena. Since then, she has shared stages with renowned Irish artists including Kíla, Aslan, and Cathy Davey. Saoirse has gone on to perform headline shows as well as support slots for both Irish and international artists at festivals and venues such as Una Healy’s New Year’s Eve special, Whelan’s “Ones to Watch,” and the Vicar Street Halloween concert.
Her debut EP, Carousel, explored a love story set against the backdrop of a fading world and was uniquely handmade and stitched together with the help of friends. Her debut album, Lunaria — meaning “moon song” or “lunar aria” — was independently released in Ireland under her own label before later being re-released in Japan with S**i Label.
With over 350,000 Spotify streams, Saoirse has toured extensively across Ireland, Japan, France, Austria, and the UK, performing in both intimate venues and major festival settings. As an artist, she continues to develop a distinctive musical voice inspired by dreams, experiences, and the world around her.
